'''Wikipedia''' is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) which simulates the construction of an encyclopedia. Gamers can choose between two factions: the Editors and the Vandals, similar to the Alliance and the Horde in World of Warcraft.

The Wikipedia project was inspired by and modeled after [[Nickipedia]], though as of yet it has been unable to compare in awesomeness.

== Gameplay ==

On Wikipedia, the two factions are pitted against each other. The Editors attempt to collaboratively construct a reliable encyclopedia, and the Vandals seek to undermine the efforts of the Editors by inserting false (but usually hilarious) information.

The Editors have several special moves; they have the ability to Warn the Vandals, which may deter a vandal for a short time. They can also report vandals to the administrators (which are Editors with GODMODE), but they have to use evidence to support their claims, or risk being mistaken as a Vandal themselves. As the Editors advance in levels, they can unlock more abilities such as Rollback Rights and the Spartan Laser.

The Vandals are not given special abilities, but have the power of numbers; there are far more Vandals than Editors. This is not only because vandalizing Wikipedia is an excellent way to troll people, but also because any factual dispute can be won by inserting lies into the relevant Wikipedia article and then citing it. Victory is announced as follows: "Wikipedia agrees with me, therefore your argument is invalid."

== How to vandalize Wikipedia ==
Vandalizing Wikipedia may seem like an easy task, but if a Vandal does not use the care and precision of a samurai, the vandalism will be instantly reverted by an Editor. Because of this, vandalizing Wikipedia has become somewhat of an art form, and many literary works have been based around it.

Sometimes, a Vandal may go undercover and pretend to be an Editor, fighting against their own until they obtain GODMODE.

Here is the current Vandal scoring scheme:
* inserting lies into an article: 1 XP
* getting an Editor to send you an angry message: 50 XP
* getting your school's IP banned for vandalism: 2,500 XP
* getting an Editor banned: 5,000 XP
* making the world believe some famous singer is dead: 25,000 XP
* use an article you created to convince people you're the President of some country in Europe: 70,000 XP
* obtaining GODMODE, then banning other admins for lulz: 100,000 XP
* obtaining GODMODE, then changing the main page to [[Abraham]]'s PROGRESS picture: 1,000,000,000,000 XP
